What we liked: The Black & Decker takes head here with the bigger battery. With only $10 more to fetch out, it is a better product, has more power, and batteries included. Unlike the Ryobi, Black & Decker will be sold by Amazon. You will have the warranty and claim benefit along with this.What we didn’t like: This is a bit heavier compared to the Ryobi model. Also, the Ryobi model has a small tray built in for keeping your screws and other tools in hand’s reach.

What we liked: The Ryobi weighs less and is also more compact. Along with rubber grips, which makes it better for heavy duty use. The Ryobi also has 12 speeds over the 11 speeds of Black & Decker.What we didn’t like: The problem with Ryobi here is that when you buy, this will just be the tool. Batteries are not going to be included. So that will cost you extra, along with the charger. If you don’t want to spend money on the battery and charger for the Ryobi, it can only work if you have batteries from another Ryobi machine already at hand.
Comparing the two, we were absolutely certain that buying the Black & Decker is the better option. We are certain; you will not be disappointed at all.

These two look good when making a comparison. However the Black & Decker 20 volt trimmer takes the edge here.

The Black & Decker also has more power and option of increasing the torque. This one weighs 6.3 lbs whereas the Ryobi is lighter. The weight on the Black & Decker provides it with more stability than its counterparts. The Black & Decker also has an easy feed option which allows you to advance your line. All this requires is a button which is located at the top.

What we didn’t like: The problem with the added weight is that it may not be easier to use for beginners.

What we liked: This is lighter than the Black & Decker model.What we didn’t like: The Ryobi trimmer also has the option of becoming a wedge but the ease of use is better with the Black & Decker. The proper weight was not provided on their website. The Ryobi trimmer will set you back $60.45 whereas the Black & Decker trimmer will cost you $79.99. Again, the issue here is that the Black & Decker model comes with the battery and charger included. The line advancing ease button is not present with this model.
All of these factors considered make the Black & Decker trimmer a better option here.

Comparing Ryobi and Black & Decker Jigsaws was tricky. Both of them are solid products and perform well. But the edge here goes to the Black & Decker Jigsaw. Sawing is a technical and tricky task which requires balance.

What we liked: You get balance with the Black & Decker jigsaw. It weighs in at 5.2 lbs, which gives it more balance than the 4.4 pounds of the Ryobi one. The Black & Decker jigsaw also comes with an easy to remove latch for the saw blades.What we didn’t like: The grips on this model are not made of rubber.

What we liked: The Ryobi comes with an LED light with which you can see better while working during night times and in low light areas. Plus this has rubber grips as well.What we didn’t like: Although battery powered, the Ryobi jigsaw does not come with the battery included. This makes it harder to use right off the bat when compared to the wire powered Black & Decker. Plus the price factor just does not make this a feasible product for everyday use.
Both the products have 4 speeds to operate the blades at. The Black & Decker costs $37.99 compared to the Ryobi at 76.89. The Black & Decker jigsaw wins here.

When comparing Ryobi vs Black & Decker lawn mower machines, this is a very tough choice to make. Let’s take a look at the Black & Decker.

CHECK IT OUTWhat we liked: This has 2, 2.5 Ah batteries. Sometimes this allows this lawn mower more battery time than the Ryobi lawnmower.

What we didn’t like: In the Black & Decker model, the speed variations are not automatic. This may give you the advantage of having more power, it take out the ease of use.

What we liked: The Ryobi has one 5 Ah battery. This is because the Ryobi delivers more power in one go, and varies its speeds automatically which use the battery more. The Ryobi also features a 7 setting height adjustment compared to the 6 settings of Black & Decker.What we didn’t like: The Ryobi is heavier at 67.6 lbs compared to the Black & Decker, which comes in at 55 lbs.
All in all, with the price factor and more battery time compared together, the Black & Decker wins here at $333.50 when paired against the Ryobi’s $381.04.

5. Ryobi vs Black and Decker hedge trimmer

When it comes to hedge trimmers, the Black & Decker model seems like the better choice. Both the models offer a 22” multiple blades and up to 3000 hectares of hedges can be cut in one charge. Let’s take a look at them, Black & Decker going first.

What we liked: This is lighter than the Black & Decker model.What we didn’t like: The Ryobi does not come with the batteries included. This puts $30 burden on the pocket and make it seem odd as to why the model doesn’t come with a battery whereas other similar models do. Furthermore, the battery on the Ryobi hedge trimmer is powered at 18v as compared to the 20v of the Black & Decker.
With these factors to consider and the similar price ranges of both the models, and added battery price of Ryobi, the Black & Decker takes the cake here.

Despite both Black & Decker and Ryobi being very popular household names in home improvement tools, it is a shame that Ryobi does not feature batteries included in their products. One seriously thinks this as a main factor when comparingRyobi vs Black & Decker. Also the issue of price is of particular concern here.
